Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang has successfully built a diverse portfolio of businesses and properties alongside his political career.
Elected in 2022 under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), he chairs the Senate ICT Committee and also serves on the Agriculture and Livestock Committee.
Chesang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a Certified Project Management (PMP) credential, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Chesang’s entrepreneurial journey began early through sports. His talent in table tennis earned him prize money and international recognition, which he invested in his father’s company, Crackerbell Insurance Link.
Later, he sold his shares and launched Vijana Umoja Pamoja, a community-based organization aimed at empowering youths in Trans Nzoia. He also organized events for Kenyan artists, marking his entry into the entertainment sector.
Before joining the Senate, Chesang led Transcentury Global and Uplift Group, companies active in energy, transport, water, industrial, and agriculture sectors across East, Central, and Southern Africa.
In 2015, he founded the Allan Chesang Foundation to support education and social development programs.
In the hospitality and lifestyle space, Chesang operates several clubs under the Club Blend brand, including The Craft Lounge in Westlands and The Garage Club in Thika.
He also owns Uplift Express, a logistics company, and Aquarage Purified Water. His lifestyle reflects his success, featuring luxury vehicles and a palatial residence.
