Former Meru Woman Rep Florence Kajuju Mourns Husband David Gitonga Amuru

Former Meru County Woman Representative Hon. Florence Kajuju is mourning the death of her husband, David Gitonga Amuru, who passed away after a long illness.

Gitonga died while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital, bringing to an end a brave and difficult health battle that he faced with courage and faith.

In a heartfelt message shared publicly, Hon. Kajuju paid glowing tribute to her husband, describing him as a fighter who remained steadfast until his final moments.

“You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith and the promise. Rest in eternal peace Ba Dennis. I will forever treasure the memories of the life we shared,” she wrote.

Following the announcement, messages of condolence and support have poured in from leaders, business personalities, friends, and Kenyans from all walks of life. 

Many described Gitonga as a successful, disciplined, and hardworking businessman who built strong enterprises in Meru County and other parts of the country.
