Former Kigumo Member of Parliament Jamleck Irungu Kamau is mourning the death of his beloved mother, a loss he described as deeply heartbreaking.
The former lawmaker shared the sad news through a post on his official Facebook page, where he posted photos of his late mother and opened up about the painful experience his family has gone through.
According to Jamleck Kamau, the family and doctors made every possible effort to save his mother’s life, but sadly, their attempts were unsuccessful. She passed away at the age of 96.
“Mom, it is still hard to believe that you are gone. We did everything we could, and the doctors fought to save you, but God has called you home,” Kamau wrote.
“We thank Him for the 96 beautiful years you shared with us. We celebrate your life, Mama. Rest in peace and fly with the angels.”
Although he did not reveal the exact cause of her death, the emotional message touched many Kenyans online.
Social media users quickly flooded the comment section with messages of comfort, prayers, and condolences for the former MP and his family.
Many praised Kamau for honoring his mother’s long life and legacy, noting that living to 96 years was a blessing worth celebrating despite the pain of loss.
