Breaking News: President Ruto Issues a Bold Statement, Orders the Arrest of Individuals After Nyeri Church Chaos

President William Ruto has finally broken his silence following the chaotic incident that occurred at a church in Othaya, Nyeri County, where former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was in attendance.

According to claims shared by a social media platform known as Kenya News Flash, the President addressed the nation after disturbing videos from the church event circulated widely online.

The incident caused panic and fear among worshippers, including women and children.

As reported by the same source, President Ruto alleged that Rigathi Gachagua and members of his team were responsible for throwing teargas during the incident.

He claimed that they later tried to blame the government for the chaos. Following this claim, the President reportedly ordered the police to arrest those involved and ensure they are taken to court to face the law.

However, reports from Sunday indicate that Rigathi Gachagua narrowly escaped harm after armed goons allegedly ambushed his motorcade.

The attackers are said to have thrown teargas inside the church, forcing worshippers to flee. Many leaders, especially from the opposition, have strongly condemned the incident, terming it dangerous and unacceptable.

They have called for peace, restraint, and equal protection for all leaders regardless of political differences.
