Unexpected Turn as Khalwale Drops Bombshell on Who Raila Allegedly Chose as His Political Successor

Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has sparked fresh debate over the Odinga family’s political future following the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Speaking during an interview on Shahidi TV, the outspoken senator made surprising claims about who Raila wanted to take over his political legacy.

According to Khalwale, it was not Winnie Odinga or Raila Junior, as many Kenyans have believed, but rather Rosemary Odinga, Raila’s eldest surviving daughter. 

He said that before his passing, Raila had privately shared his wish for Rosemary to continue his political journey after the death of his firstborn son, Fidel Odinga.
