RIP: Sad as Jealous Man Murders Ex-Girlfriend in Cold Blood After Loan Meeting, Mob Lynches Him in Revenge

Residents of Kitumbutu area in Machakos County were left in shock after a tragic love-related incident ended with two deaths — a young woman brutally murdered and her attacker lynched by an enraged mob.

According to police reports, 22-year-old Susan Nyaboke, an employee of Inspire Credit, had accompanied a colleague to meet a client in the area for loan discussions. The meeting appeared routine until chaos erupted moments after they concluded their business.

As Nyaboke and her colleague were leaving, a man suddenly emerged and attacked her with a sharp object, inflicting deep cuts on her neck and jaw.

Her colleague raised the alarm, drawing the attention of nearby residents who rushed to the scene. Unfortunately, Nyaboke succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The attacker, believed to be her former boyfriend, attempted to flee but was quickly overpowered by the angry crowd. Witnesses said the mob descended on him, pelting him with stones until he died at the scene.

Police later arrived and moved both bodies to the mortuary as investigations began.

Detectives confirmed that they are probing the circumstances surrounding the attack, including whether the alleged loan meeting was part of a planned setup. They also intend to determine the motive behind the killing, which is suspected to have stemmed from a love triangle.

The incident has sparked concern over rising cases of intimate partner violence and mob justice.

Authorities have urged the public to allow law enforcement to handle such matters, warning that vigilante actions complicate investigations and risk further harm.
