Speaking on Thursday, as reported by one of the media houses, ODM MP Peter Kaluma threatened to expose the people behind the death of the late Kasipul MP Ong’ondo Were.
Kaluma said he has been patient for long, but the pressure and provocation from those involved in the matter might soon push him to speak out publicly.
In his statement, the Homa Bay Town MP claimed that the individuals who were involved in the killing of the late MP are now provoking and pressuring him.
Kaluma warned that if the situation continues, he will no longer remain silent and will make sure everyone in Kasipul knows the truth.
“These people are trying to provoke me, but when I finally get tired, I will tell the whole truth to the people," he said.
Kaluma further revealed that he knows very well those who were involved and is only waiting for the right time to expose them one by one.
He insisted that when the right time comes, he will start mentioning their names in public so that everyone can hear and know who is behind the murder.
“I know them. I am just waiting for the right time, and when that time comes, I will mention their names openly," he added.
At the same time, Kaluma expressed his full support for the late MP’s son to take over his father’s position and represent the people of Kasipul in Parliament.
He said the ODM party fully supports the young man’s leadership journey, and they will stand with him all through.
“We are behind the son of the late MP. He should continue with his father’s work and serve the people of Kasipul," Kaluma said.
