Lawyer and political activist Miguna Miguna has publicly defended Oketh Salah following strong criticism from members of Raila Odinga’s family.
Speaking on Thursday, Miguna said the attacks directed at Salah by Winnie Odinga, Raila Odinga Jr, and other family members were hypocritical and malicious. He added that such public attacks were not good and did not show respect or fairness.
In his statement, Miguna explained that many people, including himself, do not personally know Oketh Salah. He said that not knowing someone is not a valid reason to insult them or question their role in public.
Miguna noted that if people truly do not know Salah, then attacking him while demanding answers from him does not make sense.
Miguna further stated that anyone with questions about Oketh Salah’s association with the Odinga family should ask Raila Odinga directly.
According to Miguna, Raila is the right person to explain where Salah came from and how he became close to the family. He warned that turning Salah into a target of attacks was unfair and unnecessary.
Miguna concluded by urging political leaders and families to act with maturity. He called for calm discussions instead of public insults, saying such attacks only create division and harm others without solving any issue. VIEW.
