In Busia County, a shocking incident has left residents in disbelief after a well-known school principal, Edward Mulinto, reportedly chopped off his own legs.

The tragic act came after reports circulated in his village and school that his wife was allegedly having an affair with a boda boda rider.

According to eyewitnesses, Principal Mulinto returned home in a state of deep anger and heartbreak. He reportedly expressed how much he had sacrificed for his family, saying he gave almost 98% of his salary to support his wife and ensure her happiness.

Eyewitnesses further revealed that Mulinto consumed alcohol and, while intoxicated, took a hacksaw and chopped off both of his legs.

He allegedly said he would rather live in a wheelchair than continue suffering from the emotional pain of his wife’s betrayal.
